>>27437855You can easily still brute-force it with some simple geometry.
Worst
(more like typical) case, you need to run/walk about 3 km.
Best case, you can get it in under 1 km.
But yes, it'd be fucking nice if the footprints tracker worked since it'd reduce the range of that circle from 1 km radius to like 10m or whatever the 1-footprint range value was.
Of course you can probably cut the search radius a bit if you use the Pokemon tracker and the position of the Pokemon in the list but there are a couple variables that could fuck it up for you (e.g. a Pidgey cluster fucking up the list when you're actually getting closer). This method ignores all that shit and guarantees you'll EVENTUALLY find it, if it's still there after you trekked for 3+ clicks.
I'd actually take the time to do this shit because I fucking hate seeing Pokemon but not being able to find them but I live on the border of a ghetto and most of the rare Pokemon I detect spawn in said ghetto so I don't bother unless I happen to run across them on the bus or something. The locals get pissed when they see fatties like me wandering around near their churches while staring down at my phone.
