>>54350167I think it looks great for what it is. It has a ton of polish and care put into it and compared to the other Switch titles, it does what it set out to do the best out of them all. BDSP, being a chibi art style also, should have taken inspiration from Let's Go. Nat dex and the plethora of other issues aside, it would have greatly benefited from taking notes from Let's Go even though the art style genre is chibi all the same. That being said, I think where Let's Go's visual design lacks is the Pokemon models. The texturing of the models isn't necessarily bad albeit it ranges from no changes at all to okay, but it's the stickered on eyes and mouths that absolutely ruins it for me.
TLDR; It's better than BDSP and SwSh by a long shot, but I would never settle on this style as the definitive style for Pokemon. It's good for what it is.
