OK, in all seriousness though, we really need a theme for our game, like the dreaming. This theme will carry over into our designs. Our professor's object of study, and most importantly, our plot.
When I say dreams I mean we could possibly play with "what is reality, what are the limits of reality, what can happen when those limits are removed"
If I were to make the game, me personally, I would probably try something like the Reverse World, only with it bleeding into reality, causing new reactions and changes to the surrounding life. Perhaps rather than having a traditional evil team, I would have 'Dreampeople' who are lost in reality. causing general trouble.

thats how i would do it personally. So the theme would probably want to be...coexistance in this example.
of course, this can all just be bullshit and we can choose something totally different. Throw out suggestions, we can try and build off them and see what sticks you know?
