The whole system is pretty fucked though. Bird Pokemon in the anime, supplemental art, and every form of media are showed a size consistent to their height. Look at this post
>>21257087If you tried to measure every winged Pokemon by wingspan it would get ridiculous. What about Dragonite? Butterfree? Zekrom? Mega Pinsir? Bipeds seem pretty consistently measured from toe to the top of the head.
Still though, 7+ feet is huge. Majestic winged mount status. Unless its crest stands straight up.
