The snowmobiles closed in carefully as the sole remaining man approached her, weapon to his side and a look of caution on his face, the man glancing between the downed girl and his fallen comrades carefully.
>>12018410>>12018481The cement erupted upwards in a sudden explosion of dust and stone causing the engineer in the room to jump back and scream for the guards before fleeing, it seemed they had popped up in what looked to be the storage area of one of the buildings, the hum of the generator the next room over barely drowning out their voices.
The sounds of the fire and erupting cement caused the door to slam open even as the Engineer fled it, a pair of guards pouring in a spray of gun fire over and past the engineer with barely any regard for the man's life, suppressing the two intruders the best they could despite the smoke and flames erupting from the burning storage crates in the room.
Of course the Engineer himself, after diving for the ground to avoid the fire, shouted something with extreme urgency that caused even the guards to panic a little, one backing towards the door slowly while the second kept up the suppressing fire.
