Writing a particularly violent battle for a chapter. It's by all means a one-sided brawl, yet there's segments of uncertainty throughout and the development of new powers.
My question for purposes of producing a cohesive and satisfying read is when to end the chapter:

Cliffhangers aren't usually my go-to, and "chapter summaries" are something I've always viewed as tacky excuses for novice writes to stroke their egos.
