3DS XL if you're planning to buy more games and don't have tiny hands. I found the 3DS to be way to small and it just didn't feel good, all of that changed when I got the 3DS XL which is just superior in every sense. Also the battery lasts forever if you put on battery saving mode and play at 2/3 brightness. I've gotten 6-7 hours out of it that way.
Also, people complaining about weight and size for the 3DS XL are manbabbies and need to lift.
