>>47858538Oh, I almost forgot! Don't be worried about Porygon's Digital type, it's not "really" a type, it's more like a gimmick. It has no type matchups, and no STAB moves. It's essentially there to highlight how weird Porygon is, and to encourage Conversion use. At least, I hope it will. Would a type with no weaknesses be too OP?
Furret's spaceworld design here is just another form, I could see it being like an early introduction to forms! Maybe buy them from a breeder in Goldenrod? It would go well on Whitney's team!
Spinarak and Chinchou have both been upgraded to split evolution lines! Split lines are so exciting, but so underused in the series. Here, depending on night or day, you can evolve your Spinarak! Ariados to make him more interesting has an ability that traps any Pokemon that doesn't have Scurry (Renamed Run Away) or is not Fire Type. Tenizoni meanwhile is based more on spiders that hunt without webs, as well as the ushi-oni. It's moveset would have a few dragon moves with it!
Lanturn get's its beta design as an alt form, and Horrabyss is here as a Water/Ghost! I imagine it's this strange being that people don't understand how it works, but it feeds off of Marine Snow like a an Oarfish, just floating with its eerie light in the middle of the sea. A ghost type that's a marine zombie basically. It's ability End of Watch I'm not sure if I can make and might need to be changed, but ideally the way it would work is if your Pokemon is KOed, and you switch in Horrabyss on that turn, Horrabyss' HP and status condition are fully healed.
>>47858568Thank you! I really adore Slowking too, so that might be why I really like Sultung!
>>47858623Porygon 2 with eviolite in Gen 2 I thought would be brutal. Also I wanted to make Porygon Z feel janky. You cracked the DRM, now enjoy the aftermath. Still, I think it's moveset and great Special Attack would make it somewhat appealing for gimmick runs! My ultimate goal was to make each Pokemon fun and unique to use.
