Looking back on old things that have a new and improved version (even if its shit like the switch games) is of course going to be laughly bad if you have no frame of reference because you werent alive yet. I honestly feel very sad for zoomers whos first games were gen 5+ because they really missed out on peak hype of the series and were stuck with the declining series.
