On 4chan though "shill" means "company apologist", someone who will vehemently defend a company despite all its objectively bad practices.
Like people defending cutting the national dex for basically nothing or defending GF making pokemon an annual series and never taking their time to make an actual quality game.
Although "shill", like a lot of buzzwords on 4chan, often just devolves into "person I don't like".
