I mean you can't even get themes for the Switch.

There has to be a reason why a Pikachu-themed 3DS XL is still more expensive on eBay than a brand new Zacian & Zamazenta Switch Lite.
People don't want the latest gen.

Back in the day I was forced to buy a GameBoy just to play Pokemon Blue. My mom paid for it so it wasn't that bad.
Some time later I was forced to get a 2DS XL, yet again only to play Pokemon.
This will never stop. The console only gets more expensive with every iteration.

I did this with the 2DS XL but it was never enough. I eventually had to sell that one and buy the Pokeball version to satisfy my needs.

Here's my current collection. I want a Pokemon themed console in a Pokemon themed case.
Naturally I only play Pokemon games.
I buy the entire machine to play one game.
