Pokémon Adventures didn't help me either, the Krys arc about catching pokémon was terribly boring. A chikorita and a parasect, for real? You want to have a shitty party so bad? And that mother... really, what the fuck, she wore her daughter's clothes.
I prefer GSC's Gold than HG/SS Gold, but still, I can't like Crystal. It was glorious when Lyra was announced, even with the 'female Mario' thing.
