>>54285587I always thought it'd be cool if every Pokemon had an innate ability that every member the species would have based on flavor text or design.
For example, the Pokedex says this about Venusaur:
>A bewitching aroma wafts from its flower. The fragrance becalms those engaged in a battle.so maybe on switch in all Venusaur, regardless of whether they had Overgrow or Chlorophyll, would emit a Sweet Scent effect. Or the Pokedex says this about Charizard:
>If Charizard becomes furious, the flame at the tip of its tail flares up into a whitish-blue color.so any tail attacks (Dragon Tail, Iron Tail) could have an additional burn chance on contact when used by any Charizard.
Obviously it'd never happen because that'd be 1000+ different flavor abilities to remember for every Pokemon but I always thought it'd be a cool touch
