Let's not forget Skarmory has been OU since forever, and that Gyarados countered every dragon sans special attacking Dragonite. Not to mention that Gen 4 was the generation of Machamp sweeps, especially with a SD Machamp being able to 1-shot every Dragon on switch in, and Ninjask/Smeargle made that incredibly easy to pull off.

Kingdra is the king of Mediocremons for a reason (that reason being it doesn't have a single damn stat over 100). Dragonite's poor stat spread caused it to hang around in UU with Salamence, who was/is also pretty mediocre, what with having all 80's/100's.
Not to mention shitheads like you forget that 'mons like Altaria and Druddigon exist. There are more mediocre dragons than there are OP dragons. Hell, a 700 BST legendary dragon sits in OU since B2W2, and isn't even considered game changing. 700 fucking base stat total (also known as HIGHER THAN MEWTWO'S). Kyurem has also been below UU tier, despite being a legit legendary with stats equal to Kyogre's.
