>>45792759 cont.>VS Cynthia>SpiritombGary DS knocked out Spiritomb with two Thunderbolts, taking a Shadow Ball in between.
>GarchompAkihiko switched into Garchomp's Earthquake, ready to hold on with Focus Sash if needed. He lived with 40HP and then destroyed Garchomp with Ice Punch.
>LucarioI switched in Yinglong anticipating an Aura Sphere, but Lucario went for Extreme Speed instead.
Yinglong's Earthquake doesn't quite kill and Lucario gets a big hit with Shadow Ball, forcing Yinglong to eat its Sitrus Berry.
As Cynthia uses a Full Restore, I hit it with Dragon Claw to put it in kill range for one more Earthquake.
>MiloticAs Milotic uses Ice Beam, I switch Rubires in to tank the hit.
I afflict it with Toxic as it fails to use Mirror Coat.
In order to build up toxic damage, Gary DS switches in on a Surf and sets up Light Screen against another failed Mirror Coat.
I go for my next attack, but then Milotic gets a critical hit Surf.
>Gary DS is dead.Viliame comes in and hits a Thunder Punch, which leaves Milotic with a sliver of health.
Milotic fails yet another Mirror Coat before it succumbs to Toxic.
>TogekissRubires comes in on an Aura Shpere and then tries unsuccessfully for Toxic.
Gary DS's Light Screen fades as Togekiss starts blasting with Shock Wave.
Rubires trades blows with Togekiss, KOing the foe with Ice Beam, then Surf, and then one more Ice Beam.
>RoseradeYinglong switches into Roserade's Energy Ball and suffers a Sp. Def drop.
Yinglong goes for Fly and misses while Roserade fires off Extrasensory.
Yinglong survives on just 2HP ends the battle with just one more Fly.
And the run is done. What a ride it has been. Major battles in this game are certainly more tense than in other titles. I won't be back for another run until after the new year, so best to luck to y'all in the meantime.
