>>53252598Also, let me try to revive the thread:
>You have been Isekaied to the Pokémon world>Have been living there for some months or years by now, enough to have a firm standing in the worldA staff member of the Pokémon League of whatever region you live in came to you with a proposal: To join a newly formed expedition group, and explore a recently discovered region.
There's basically 3 main tasks:
>Exploration (probably will be the most chosen)Essentially the Dex holder(s) of the team, the job is to explore the region as thoroughly as possible, registering every Pokémon you find and surveying how hostile each species are.
>ProtectionAfter the initial exploration is done, it's time to start a new branch of civilization, the region will need to be mapped out, cities and towns to be constructed, people moved to them, etc. And the Protection team will be the ones protecting the other workers during their job, and also the ones driving away hostile Pokémon from settlement areas.
>ManagementThe ones who will direct everyone, will be in constant communication with the Exploration team, will decide where future cities and towns will be constructed, taking into account the locations to cause the least disturbance among the native Pokémon, decide how to connect said towns, choosing the least dangerous paths. If the Exploration team finds some ancient temple or something with a huge sleeping Pokémon inside, they will also have to plan on how to keep it from being stumbled upon by civilians, etc, etc.
That's the gist of it. Of course, it would be a monumental job:
Would you accept the opportunity and join the team?
Which task would you choose?
If the Expedition Leader thinks your abilities are best suited for one of the other 2 tasks you didn't chose, and suggested you take one of them instead, would you accept? Would you be able to handle it?
