Seriously though, there is kind of a trend for some of the starter shinies.
Every odd numbered water starter ends up somewhat if not entirely purple while every even numbered water starter stays blue, every fire starter gets purple or purplish accents (no? check out Charizard and Typhlosion's original GSC shinies), and every grass starter after Venusaur has been a different color mixed into shiny Venusaur's "generic Pokemon green" (lime green Meganium, seafoam green Sceptile, dark green Torterra, spruce green Serperior, olive green Chesnaught).
I'd be okay with mint green Rowlet, black with burgundy/magenta Litten and bluish purple Popplio personally.
As much as I'd like tiger colored Litten,

again either.
