>>54178536sure, but none of the other similarities you're describing are particularly unique to arven and lillie either. the MC in pokemon games is commonly the driving force behind the rival character's development arc, and there have been several other rivals whose relationship with the MC is popularly interpreted by fans as romantic, ex. hop, shauna, brendan/may in the remakes). as someone else already pointed out, N would also fit the bill (he needs the MC to complete his character arc, is key to the box legendary, is love interest bait)
arven and lillie have some similarities (as do many of the other pokemon rival characters with one another), but calling them the same character is a stretch
