I love the E series so much. The card layout, the colors, the holo pattern, the artwork, all work together perfectly. I wish modern sets would continue doing common themes between all the artwork. Skyridge and Aquapolis were brilliant at creating settings through shared elements in their card art, and the settings themselves were super interesting to boot. Nowadays, when the tcg tries to do something interesting with its art, I can never get behind it because the card layouts themselves are gaudy and frame the art in such an unappealing way. E series just does it for me.
