The rest of the fight isn't too much of an issue since Ash gonna Ash, but everyone knows this is the only one that matters. And probably the only thing that could actually threaten the "muh Ash vs. Leon destined fight" shit given it not only is built like a brick shithouse and hits like a nuke, but also Cynthia goes into full "no mercy, destroy their hopes and dreams" mode the moment she takes the fight seriously.
And reminder that unless they said otherwise and I likely forgot, Tobias likely fought Cynthia after the Gen 4 arc tournament and probably didn't beat her either. And if even Mr. "I'm going to Smogonfag and bring all legendaries to a tournament" himself couldn't beat the land shark most likely, what fucking hope does Ash have at this point to actually stop it if ever?
