The Problem with Online ranked, is that it's gets extremely tedious and boring after awhile. Everyone is using the same team and if you want some variety you have to reach higher ranks and even then its all just gimmicks because alot of players at that point are either practicing for VGC,Streamers or don't give a fuck. I like online battling but I like the battle frontier more. Restricted battles, Random mons, just crazy shit that made it fun. Having both would be the best, but I guess thats too much to ask. I don't understand why Gamefreak would not add a Battle frontier if they think its "too hard" but rework the online ranked system , something the majority of casuals don't really give a shit about.
