The user grounds itself before unleashing a massive amount of electricity. 20% chance of causing Paralysis on hit. This move hits Ground-type Pokémon for super-effective damage, but only deals neutral damage to Flying-types, unless the Flying-type is grounded. This move bypasses accuracy checks if the target is grounded by the effects of a move or item, or if the target is using Dig or Dive. This move cannot hit targets using Fly or Bounce. Pokémon with the Ability Lightningrod will not draw in this move or be protected from its damage, but will have their Special Attack raised if hit.
