Progress on the voxel tileset continues. Finally have the Gold model at a place I am decently happy with. Still not sure if I want to actually use models though, or go with sprites. And if I go with sprites I'm not sure if I want voxel 'sprites' (like Kris in the image), or actual 2D sprites in a 3d world like the DS games had.
>>41943278Great idea, thank you anon! Gonna go with the Z-icons for Ghost, Dragon, Psychic, Flying, and Poison, and use the SwSh type icons for the rest. That should clear up the style a lot better. The fire one would have too much definition though, and not really fit in with the rest.
>>41943990Start with the pokemon that are most similar to existing ones first, and expand outward from there. If your game has regional variants, those ones are the easiest starting point because you have a template to work off of.
