Funny enough, ORAS stablished a lot of newer pokemon originally lived in the Hoenn region long, long ago, but left with time and only returned when the natural energy bathed the region after the climax of the game.
One of these mons is Zorua/Zoroark, it seems like one of the places they came from in the past was Hoenn, but they (somehow) moved to other places and now it seems like the cold Sinnoh region was too much for them.
Also ignore the shittuber, I just couldn't find another pic of the DexNav showing Zorua in Hoenn
