The Unova/Alola dex will be greatly expanded, to include more newer-gen Pokemon + some older-gen Pokemon
Some new regional forms will be introduced to both regions
Character customisation returns, and will be semi-tied to another new feature of the game
Gems return, as well as some other new items being introduced for the first time
Many Pokemon will be getting significant buffs/reworks. Especially older and/or shitty Pokemon
Semi-regular balance updates will be introduced. Rebalancing Pokemon stats, abilities, movepool, moves, types, ect
The type chart will be rebalanced. Buffing types such as Rock, Ice, Bug and Psychic, while slightly nerfing the Fairy-Type
New moves and abilities will also be a thing
The main story will put more of an emphasis on Double, Triple and Rotation Battles. Especially after defeating the 4th Gym Leader. Single Battles won't cease to exist entirely, but will be less common
Trainer Class system will be introduced. Offering buff and bonuses to players both online and ingame, and encouraging players to build their teams a certain way. Certain clothes and hair colors/styles will be exclusive to certain classes. I may expand on this in a separate post, since this new feature will be fairly complex and detailed
Following Pokemon can be enabled/disabled
Official Nuzlocke support + multiple saves
Difficulty levels reintroduced, but will be implemented in a significantly less retarded way
