I love how stupid this whole section is. El decides to kidnap a pokemon that's both sapient and can teleport. Radomus knows Gardevoir can leave at any time, but instead decides to play charades and not tell Cain, Luna, or the protagonist what he's up to for whatever reason despite them not knowing actively poses a risk of Luna overextending.
Nobody is acting in their best interests here and the player just goes along with the ride.
