And if by furry you mean the back, that doesn't matter too much. The art makes it look quite thick and so far most sprites have interprted that in the way of a hair-like look.
>>15780328Personally, I like imagining Burrowl and Magowl as normal flying types that basically evolved into a different function due to environment changes or the like. Burrowl shows this well by being essentially an owl with stronger feathers to dig with. Giving magowl symbols and additional eyes really takes a way from that fairly simplistic baseline, which is why I think a concept like

Though, naturally, that's just my opinion.
