Focus more the the 'demigods' character and emotional struggles, rather than their power.
But your normal characters should shape the story overall.
Though if I am being entirely honest, I'd stop writing about these overpowered mary sue characters for a while and just focus on the normal people. It's why most people like Batman more than Superman...
though most people are plebs as Superman is clearly a better character.
