Once, in a local tiny championship, in BW era. I had a team of Zoroark, Metagross, Garchomp and Volcarona. On my second match after an easy win my opponent was bragging about being ranked top 20 in the online competition, or whatever. I sent Zoroark disguised as Metagross and Garchomp, but I don't remember his lead. Game goes on and I have a half dead Metagross and my Volcarona vs a Haxorus and a half dead Conkeldurr. I was sweating. I clicked Quiver Dance and Meteor Mash, but Haxorus were faster, EQ'ing and taking his Conkeldurr and my Metagross. I Quiver Dance'd. I had no idea if I was going to be fast enough and strong enough to take a full life Haxorus because I was a dumb teenager. Anyway, when that Bug Buzz hit Haxorus, each pixel of its life was driving me crazy. If I didn't take him down there, I was finished. I screamed when my moth finished the Haxorus. Man, it felt really good, I remember to this day.
It was a 4-people *licensed* championship, by Copag HUEBR. I ended up winning that, along with a shirt and some TCG energies.
