>>53758008>>53758013After the ordeal at Mount Coronet, Percival took an entire week off.
How could he not? So much had changed in such a short time span. It was impossible to continue onward without some kind of rest.
And so, he just... relaxed. Hung out on the beach. Got to know his new teammates.
It was a refreshing change of pace, and greatly helped the grunt grapple with... everything.
His next course of action, however, was quite swift: he wasted no time in flying to Veilstone HQ and calling a Galactic meeting.
"Team Galactic is no more!" he cried. "Your leader is gone, and your plan has failed!"
Percival was lucky- he'd managed to gather the entirety of the organization at Veilstone.
Having a fragment of God itself tended to make doing that easier, but I digress. He spent his time wisely, explaining exactly what Cyrus was trying to achieve and how he was well and truly gone, before ending with a definitive statement.
"Stop all this. Return to your families. This organization is in the past, now, and I will handle the rest once I claim the champion's throne."
It was a laughable statement, to some. To others, it was deadly serious.
Most low-level grunts obeyed. After all, why wouldn't they? This man was backed by an otherworldly being they'd never seen, and most had only joined to get some decent pay anyway. If the rich guy backing this entire operation was gone, there was no point in staying.
Percival's fellow admins, on the other hand, were less receptive to the idea.
He soon faced blowback from Saturn especially, who was furious and demanded that he succeed Cyrus and continue the team's plans to wipe the world of all emotion. It took a lengthy battle and plenty of convincing to put him down... but Percival managed it, eventually.
And once Saturn was defeated, the other two admins soon saw reason.
