My first shiny was shiny rapidash in leaf green on the beach route before mt ember. I was actually looking for a regular one to finish my nat dex and i fucking shit myself when i found it. I had 3 ultra balls left and i caught it on the very last one. Unfortunately my game was stolen a few years later and in honor of "Bluey" i pokeradar chained in pearl for a shiny ponyta and named him "bluey jr". I'll never forget bluey and he will always keep a special place in my heart.
