i'm sure if you feed them some bread from time to time you'll actually make pretty good friends with them. I have the same deal with the swans here, they're known for attacking pedestrians and children but they don't even budge if i reach my hand out to them, and i get to just sit down with them on the lawn which is pretty neat.
But the aussie magpies are out to kill me, i fucking swear.
Also what's the deal with bin-chickens, are they hostile? They look kinda intimidating but we shared a bag of fries together so i'm assuming we're good.
