You'd be foolish to believe it wouldn't get great sales numbers, even if the game is just ok. I have not played it and I won't unless they give players the option to bring in any Pokemon. I am aware they said that that won't happen, but considering Gamefreak has lied before, it's possible they could reverse that, even just for this game. Doubtful, but possible.
If I am being honest, I could deal with the game's flaws if they just allowed me to bring in the Pokemon I love. That right there is a deal breaker for me. And I want to play the new games, I really do. I want to get the new Pokemon and enjoy myself, even if it's not for that long. But the cut dex is a deal breaker for me.
