Ran into this beauty during the week. Just under or over 5,000 SRs I believe. The battle was ridiculous. Articuno had 5 pp left after I had tricked PP restoring items onto it and I used 84 ultra balls. During the whole battle the balls that I threw rolled 3 times TWICE total. In other news I discovered there was a possibility my sapphire version could be fake. I looked around for hours for advice to assure my version was authentic but couldn't find any sort of real advice that could 100% confirm mine was real.
So the fake shiny regi trio and fake shiny rayquaza I have are gone as the game has been disposed of. I know that seems a little over the top for some but just personally I can't settle for anything that isn't 100% authentic or spawned with the aid of cheats or outside devices/software.
I'll be away for a little bit because i'm pretty much done with targets I want to shiny hunt for in my fire red which is the only game I have now outside of gen 2 original. So i'm going to try to get some authentic copies of emerald/ruby/sapphire and some gen 4 games to hunt on and i'll be back then
I might just decide to finish the shiny bird trio but we'll have to see
I was considering hunting for mirage island shiny wynaut but looking down the road i don't think i'll be able to make time for that hunt so it probably won't be happening
