We beat Cyrus! Finally, the number one op is down. It wasn't an easy fight though. He opens with Houndoom, and luckily he does Will-O-Wisp this time; I gave Tectonix a Rawst Berry, and he responds with an Earthquake, OHKOing it. He sends out Gyarados, and I pivot over to Gaben. Gyarados deals a good chunk of damage with a Waterfall, but a Thunderbolt kills it. Then comes Honchkrow, who's somehow bulky enough to survive a Thunderbolt. He gets good damage on Gaben, who still returns the kill the next turn. Out comes the dreaded Weavile, who I hope Gaben can tank. Unfortunately, he cannot, and Gaben falls. I switch over to Belle, which might seem ridiculous, but I feel like Tectonix needs some health for the Crobat and can't take a hit from the Weavile without risking a wipe, I'm not super confident in Lhasa, and I hope with speed EVs, Roserade can outspeed. Of course though, it can't, and Belle falls. I switch to Lhasa, which I should've done initially, because Lhasa tanks the Ice Punch and immediately brings down the Weavile. Out comes the Crobat, and I decide to at least try and kill it with Lhasa on the field rather than risk the switch-in. He uses Air Slash and... Lhasa lives with literal 2 HP. Zen Headbutt finishes the fight. Lhasa then punts Cyrus into the depths of the Distortion World, sending our biggest foe in this Autismlocke straight to hell.
Oh yeah, speaking of hell, we caught Satan in a Dusk Ball, so that's cool. Not gonna use Giratina, but hey, maybe I should to spite this game. We also got some shit luck with our last few encounters, because we missed out on a catch in Sendoff Spring (nothing but Gravelers) and instead of a Magnemite, Electabuzz, or even a Staravia, we get a Wingull. Hopefully our now fully Ship of Theseus'd team can bring it home.
