Crobat tried to set up some Double Team bullshit, but thanks to Swift, it couldn't evade anything. Most of Bruno's team was also pretty easy, but his Machamp gave Lockheed a surprising bit of trouble. That said, Lockheed ultimately came out on top. Next up was Karen, and her team was almost a pushover. I figured that Houndoom would go down pretty quickly to Polar Express, but it did a good number on him. The disaster was when Astra took on Karen's Gengar, but the bitch used Destiny Bond, ending Astra's journey right before the end. Up next, the Champion.
But first, we remember Astra. Astra was the team baby, given to us from an Egg by the Day Care. Astra was a trooper in all our fights, taking hits and dealing it back out. We watched our baby grow from an infant into a valuable member of the squad. To see it end like this is heartbreaking, but alas, we must move forward. Rest in Power, sweet summer child.
