Just take the 'L' with dignity. You lost. You can still say the game sucks and you hate it and whatnot, but get off the "it was a commercial flop, it didn't sell to expectations" bullshit. Nobody believes it, certainly not anyone at Nintendo or Game Freak (i.e., the ones whose opinions on its sales matter.) It's the best-selling game of the post-Game Boy era, and is now very much in striking distance of the original Gold and Silver.
