Imagine this game if it'd had another year in the oven. Sidequests were all just "show NPC this Pokemon" and the graphics looked like doo doo, yet it still btfo's gens 8 and 9. It really is the most SOVLful pokemon game we've gotten in recent years. I think it could've been a genuine cultural phenomenon if it were given the care it deserved, but it's just so lacking in content and polish.
