People who only want to use new pokemon got Black and White
People who want to use all pokemon got Black 2 and White 2
The games also justified it's third version by having BW2 take place 3 years after BW and having a new story instead rather than being the same game with some new tweaks. This is a really good structure and how each generation should be to create more excitement
Gen 5 may have my least favourite pokemon and I don't like the murican setting but I do really respect that Gamefreak tried to take a risk and that's what this series needs more than ever. I'm sick and tired of new games just being filled with mostly old pokemon and kanto pandering
