>>40720107Even though I like Rillaboom more, Cinderace will unironically be the best starter. A well balanced mono fire pokemon with highly likely access to kick moves without fighting dual type weaknesses is going to curbstomp most of the newly revealed pokemon.
The only hard counter is Inteleon and only if it has a higher speed. And since supposedly the rival picks the pokemon weak to yours the main game will be a cake walk. You probably could solo the game with Cinderace considering all the pokemon revealed.
