All the Fire/Fighting starters (and the Fire/Dark one) are humanoid. Nonetheless, the animal Blaziken is based on has one of the most human bodyplans of any bird.
Needless to say, gen 3's starters are far and away the cleverest and most well-considered designs of any set of starters.
