The man thus unbalanced, he managed to dodge to the side just in time for the bullet to scream past and into the wall behind him. Half expecting a ballistic knife, the concealed gun caught him by surprise. Either way, he tried to wrench his sickle off the ground and, if successful, would immediately hook it around the officer's leg and try to trip him - if not hack it off.
