It's a fucking incomplete game, there are like 5 or so good design pokemon, the rest looks like a digimon ripp off, the history was bland and boring and out of the three rivals none of them was developed enough or was implemented correctly, Hop could've been an actual good rival if he would have chosen the adventage starter, give him a lot less screen time and not having the animations recycled from Hau, Marny had too short time for development and Bede was simply uninteresting, the game has some good hits, but there's too many lows as much in the thechnic side and the conceptual side, but there's at least a bunch of waifus, so hooray.
The competitive is a lot of fun and I am enjoying it a ton, so to me pokemon is no more about weird animal that you can collect, it's about a board of stats.
