>both weak gamesThis is the part that's just not true. For whatever reason GF decided to make SwSh a switch game instead of a ds game. It's blatantly obvious and is thus weaker as it was ported between systems and ideas. A big pile of open world crap crammed into a traditional game. It's bad. It's weak. It is not fun. SV had a singular vision from its conception. You might not like it, but it's congruent, fluent and stronger because of it.
I wish I was coping anon. I want so much for this series to be amazing but every gen I hold my breath and expect to worst. Gen 9 is definitely superior to gen 8. It's a shame it's getting this reaction.
