I did try using Hala as my physical striker.
He does good damage even without the terrain buffs, but the run comes to a screeching halt mid-way when our speed goes in the negative. It doesn't help when Ice Hammer lowers it either way.
I tried putting on Haste on him, but the enemy's Bulldoze still makes it unplayable.
