It was an alright game, but man does the pacing shit itself after 4th gym leader.
I've seen people give Johto shit for it's 7th gym leader, but it doesn't feel as bad as BW rushing you to the league, or maybe it's just me.
Not to mention the type availability is also pretty garbage, not as bad as the complete absence of fire types in gen 4, but it's still rather limited given half the pokedex are bug-types for some reason.
As for post-game, it was few routes and then done, can't really experience the game at it's height and the bonus features like DreamWorld, EntraLink, Black City/White Forest etc.
I've heard BW2 is substantially better, but I'll hold my reservations.
I think BW1 started off nicely, but didn't feel satisfying towards the end of the game, and I'm wondering if anyone felt the same.
