>>46316977I dunno, anon. I legitimately prefer XY to ORAS. Kalos is a lovely region and I have a weakness for the trainer customization. In contrast, ORAS is very island-y, more island-y than even the original RS somehow, and I've got no preference for Hoenn anyways. Played RS a million bajillion times when I was a kid, too. It did give my favorite Pokemon a mega that broke ubers in half, though. That's a nice thing.
In terms of endgame battle content, they're both pretty much the same, because they use literally the exact same battle facility, and I'll never not be mad about that. Mainly because trainer customization was cut for being "inappropriate" for the region, while a french mansion in the middle of not-kyushu is a-okay, apparently. Honestly, if they hadn't cut that little bit of personalization, I'd probably agree with you that ORAS was the better game. But I like my personalized experiences.
Also, nu-Shelly is terrible.
