>>27149458Yes, she does dislike battling, and the Treehouse event reaffirmed this pretty clearly when she appeared in a cutscene (that's also where they briefly mentioned her post-game role), but it's obviously lip service to keep things hush hush. You will most definietly battle her at some point, again likely later in the game, it's silly to think otherwise. Her dislike of battling just means you will not battle her as often as Hau, and that she won't take a starter but have a different team.
>>27149469It's okay, just try not to get too bitter next time. She's just a pokegirl. Hau having the weaker starter but still being the "main" rival is an interesting change of pace, and a lot about S/M seems to be changing the conventions of what we expect from the series. You shouldn't underestimate him, especially since he still has 5 other Pokemon and is confirmed to use Pichu at least if you choose Popplio.
