In other words, "choose all that apply" or limiting it to a certain number could be ideal, I would say. This would help mitigate some opposites or inconsistencies.
For example: I got Steel, Water and Fighting. Water points towards being an introvert, while Fighting an extrovert.
To make it clear, in this particular case, I don't think each of the types description is "incorrect". In fact, after reading some of them you did a good job at describing them. So I would indeed assume that the % calculation can be better implemented/calculated.
