Back at it again with my Y Nuzlocke, I've made quite a bit of progress since Sycamore's Lab in Lumiose City.
I caught a Pancham in Route 5, evolved both my starters, and snagged a Venipede on my way to Parfum Palace. Whoever said this would be a hard point in the game wasn't kidding, I ran into the infamous Furfrou double battle. They're pretty tanky all things considered, and there's double the chance for flinch from Headbutt. Thankfully Rolf could just stack Leech Seed with Protect, and Toto's very defensive after a few Withdraws. Unfortunately things wouldn't be so smooth, because immediately after I lost my Fletchling Pyra to a Venipede's Rollout that would crit. A real bummer this was, but at least I had my first Pidgey sitting in storage, and now Coco's my go-to Flying type.
Since I'm at Route 7 now, how should I go about handling the Snorlax situation? There's no way for me to catch anything on this route (I think?) until I pass it, but that would of course count as an encounter. Should I treat it just like Pidgey and do a "Snorlax Clause?" What do you guys usually do?
